S3 very slow when charging (ie. Keyboard lag, overall responsiveness)

I got my S3 just over a week or two ago. When I have it plugged in to charge it is very unresponsive.

When I type on the keyboard it can register a few letters before it freezes and my inputs no longer register. Also swiping the home screens is slow and unresponsive too.
I don't recall the phone being this slow while charging during my first week. There was one time where I forgot to turn off my phone during work and the battery drained to zero on its own, would this effect my S3?

Hi Andrew, welcome to posting in the forums. You may want to use an app like Diagnosis to tell you what your CPU is doing and what might be causing the lag. Also, you may want to ensure you don't have any power saving configured.

I have same problem when charging my phone. But strangely its only with the samsung original charger. It can be left charging all night and reach 15-20% charge. But if I use a diff charger its 100% within an hour or two.

Anybody else noticed this??
