S3 will not work with new phones

Just saw this notification. If I can't get an inexpensive or free promotional Samsung watch,
Maybe I'll just get a cheap android one. Tiktok is selling them, some with earbuds that store in the watch itself.

Sad, but makes sense. It's a 3+ year old product running on a deprecated OS. It was but a matter of time before they stopped supporting it.

Yes, it did make sense. I think I've had it more than 3 years and I bought it when the sport came out, so it was already a year old. I just really like it.

But my battery barely lasts a day. I don't have many apps on it because it kept misbehaving. I did like that I could text back a quick note, less expensive phones won't let you do that, some won't let you take or receive calls (you get notified, but have to physically pick up your phone if you want to answer it). Yes, I've been looking. I just can't afford the 6 (or similar), which looks so nice.

Just checked, and this came out in 2016. Which sound about right. I've had 3 phones with it and still using my Note 20 Ultra (although I'm considering a trade-in for an S24 Ultra) with it.
