Hi and Welcome..Do you close out all you apps when you are done...Like from the task manager..Also take a screen shoot of your battery and post it so we can see whats going on

Sounds like another battery defect problem... Mine started acting that way when my S4 was just two months old. A factory reset didn't help and if the battery failed me during the reset, I could have bricked my phone. Samsung has acknowledged the presence of the problem as it is quite widespread. You can Google and see articles about it. Battery is under warranty for 6 months. You can have them replaced by Samsung. Either way, you need to replace the battery ASAP or the thing could leak and explode.

Thanks for the replies so far. Attached is screenshot of my battery issue from last night

I don't close apps via task mgr. Shouldn't normally have to right?
Come to think of it. Mine also started acting like this after 4.3 upgrade.

All,

Thanks for the inputs. Took my phone to a Samsung service center and ... guess what ... the battery is swollen. Getting a free replacement. Hopefully live can return back to normal then. (-:
