s4 just shut down

My S4 just shut down with about 30% battery life and won't restart any advice or anyone had the same?

This has happened to me about 4 or 5 times in the month I've had the phone. Worst is when it does it overnight and I don't get my alarm. You have to pull the battery to reset it. Very frustrating.

Random shutdowns shouldn't be normal lol.

Same here (10-day old S-4 on VZW)... there are several threads ongoing right now ref this issue... weird that it requires a battery pull in order to restart?
