S4 mini Charging issues

Last night, I had charged my S4 mini. When I woke up, I had full battery. Thirteen hours later, my phone is dead, and will not charge. It is currently at 5%. I am getting a notification that says,

"Unable to charge. Use the original charg..."

I had found my box, and grabbed the factory charging cable. My phone still will not charge. Any suggestions?
