S4 mini wont change network mode

Samsung Galaxy S4 Korean (copy), Android Jelly
Bean 4.4.4, GSM, WCDMA, LTE all options are
available when I enter *#*#4636#*#*, but when I try to switch to WCDMA it automatically reverses to GSM only,please help!!

Welcome to Android Central! If it's a knockoff/clone, then all bets are off. The hardware or firmware might be defective, and since it's not a true Samsung phone, you probably won't be able to troubleshoot it like a Samsung phone, or try to re-flash the firmware.

If you go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>More>Cellular/Mobile Networks​, can you select the preferred network mode there?

I tried that even before the *##*# thing. When I click on any other mode it quickly switches back to GSM only

I'm just speculating here, but I wonder if maybe your clone actually doesn't have a CDMA radio, but is running a firmware for a phone that has both CDMA/GSM.

Try installing System Info for Android, go to System>Telephony, and see what it says under Phone Type.

Phone type says GSM, that explains it. no solution huh?

Not that I can think of. The kind of cell radio (CDMA vs GSM) is hardware dependent--you can't modify it with software.
