S5 and Aux cable

I hooked my S 5 up to a Aux Cable and I don't get anything. No music. What can I do??? Please help..

Welcome to Android Central! What are you connecting the Aux cable to?

First, make sure the plug is pushed in all the way--you should feel and/or hear a click. Second, make sure the system volume is turned up, since the audio device you hooked up will rely on the phone's volume as well as its own volume control.

Have you tried headphones or a different aux cable? Maybe try restarting your device.
