s5 burning through battery in 4 hours with little usage

I just picked up my s5 two days ago, and the power goes from 100 percent to 20 in three hours, and says it's got an hour left. I don't have location services on, I'm not running any apps and I have background data usage turned if on almost everything. Is this normal?

No, it is not normal. You should be able to make it through a whole day with plenty room to spare with moderate usage I'd take it to the local store and make them give me a new battery or phone swap since it has only been 2 days. I usually plug in at night with >60 percent left, but I'm on wifi mostly both at home and work.

If possible, post a screenshot of your Battery Usage here to determine if the battery is really faulty.

Two days old? Get it replaced. Posting your question was more work than you should have put into a new phone with a problem.
