S5 Duos

Hello all. I recently purchased a S5 duos and I noticed that my mobile data connection would turn off when the other sim makes and/or receives a text message or call.

Is this normal or not.

I don't know about the duos, but a friend has a Korean GS4 with 2 SIM cards and that's the way it works.
