Just installed Google Earth on my new S5 and it has no 3D Buildings and the help section just says to turn it on by ticking the box under layers. Its not under layers. I just checked my old Galaxy tab and it has it. My wife's iPhone 6 has it but nowhere on the S5. Its frustrating. Can't find any information about it.

Welcome to Android Central! What city are you exploring? 3D buildings aren't available everywhere. For example, Honolulu doesn't have any 3D buildings. As a test, go to New York, NY, and look for 3D buildings there--they should be everywhere. Make sure you use two fingers to swipe up and down in order to change your perspective--3D buildings are obviously most visible when you're using the low angle "flying" perspective, rather than the top-down view.

I know how to use it. It works fine on my old phone and on my galaxy tab2 but there is no way to turn it on in the s5. Can someone else with an s5 please check this. Its driving me crazy and I can't find any info about it.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that you didn't know how to use the app. Can you confirm that you're not even seeing 3D buildings when exploring New York, NY?
