S5 Mini extremely slow charging.

Hi, Im very bothered what seems to be the problem, but i think it's the battery is the real culprit. I charged the phone overnight (like 12am) then when i woke up at 8am, it just got me 35%, that must be something unusual. I tried to restart my phone, then plugged in the charger again, slept for an hour and it got me 65%, so in that time,my battery charged fast, but then again left it for 3 hours again but it only charged 2%? And the LED notifier for Charging is not doing it's job. Do you have any solution for thisthis? Please help, my phone was bought at Dubai, and Im using it here in the Philippines, so I may not be able to use my warranty card. Any potential solution to this? I've been stuck here for almost 3weeks. Any help would be greatly appreciated ofcourse! :-/

Turn the phone off and see how long it takes to charge from 50% to 100%. If that takes a little more than an hour, there's some app in the phone using a lot of battery. If not, it could be a defective charger (try a different charger and a different cable) or a defective battery or phone.

So here's what happened. It's 2:45 PM and it's 45% charged. Then i started to plug in the charger, waited for atleast 3 hours, but my battery drained to 34% (???). But it's okay now, here's what I did. I pulled the battery off, and pressed the power button for 5 seconds. Put the battery back in and start charging. Then it charged normally, what seems to be the problem with the last few weeks? But when i turned on the phone, the date and time resets to Jan 1, 2014. But anyway, it's working now. Thank you!
