S5 ocean damage

Had my s5 active in my bathing suit pocket just waking in shore wading on beach not swimming mind you anyway long story short dead as door nail. Dried it out took battery out also. Then rice well ended up buying a new s6 but anyway the S5 turns on now makes all the boot up noises just no screen...
So I guess my ? Is can I throw a new display In this thing to get it to work or is there more to it. I know loaded question with many problems down the road but wondered how cheap a display is for this phone. Just spit balling here so...
