Best feature by far is that when streaming audio over Bluetooth and you miss a call, said streaming audio briefly plays over the hands free speaker. My coworkers will love this.

Thanks for taking the time to post all those screenshots, I really appreciate it! :D

I just received a notification with the screen off and it turned back off after about 5 seconds. There must be some setting that does this. Someone was saying yesterday that the screen stayed on.

I updated to Lollipop last night OTA without a hitch. Everything is working fine and much quicker.

Do you happen to use FoxFi - the personal hotspot app?
If so, does it work with Lollipop?

First thing that pleased me is now, thanks to Lollipop, I can have photos taken with the S5 saved to the external memory card and apps like QuickPic, ES File Explorer, can work with them, delete them, etc.. Another plus is PdaNet+ works aok with Lollipop on the S5.

For battery life.
Try going to settings/applications/application manager/Running.
Look for applications that were started when conversion was performed.
Turn off, disable those you are not using. Not all apps are converted correctly.
Then do a reboot.
Good luck.

For those having battery problems, have you rebooted or factory reset your phone after the update?

Does anyone know if the actual physical SD card is now accessible in the update? Under Kit Kat the S5 used that b******* SD emulation that passed for SD usage. The phone could detect the card but the OS wouldn't allow apps to use it. I hope this has been corrected.

My S5 is using the extSDcard directly from the apps and storing their data w/o any issues.
especially the camera which for me is most important.

I'm still on 4.4.4

Does it save on the SD card by default or do you have to set it up somehow to do that?

you specifically use the Camera Settings to choose the storage location.

by default, it will be on the device.

I have had mine changed to the extSDcard ever since last September when I bought my SD cards.

What about for the app data?
