S5 Power button broken - stuck in recovery mode

Hello,

I recently rooted my samsung s5 to try and troubleshoot my power button not working, as when I restarted before root, it would work for a minute then stop. But after rooting i accidentally restarted my phone with a power manager app in recovery mode and now I can not connect to my phone via odin. The closet image i could get is this imgur.com/MiGuKGz and on the top of the text in red it has:
Android System recovery <3e>
KIT49H.G900IDVU1ANC

Volume up/down to move highlight
power button to select

Please help

Welcome to the forums. It may be that the power button is physically damaged. Have you called any local repair shops to get an estimate? As for getting out of recovery, the only thing I can think of is to pull the battery for a few minutes.

Re: S5 Power button broken - stuck in recovery mode

thanks for the quick reply, Ive tried that but to turn it on you have to plug it in and the quickly take the battery out in put it back in. But when i plug it in it turns on and goes straight into recovery mode :( unless you know of anyother way to turn it on without the power button?
