s6 Active options for email sync

I have an msn account n exchange and work email on google. can only see 1 page of emails, how do I sync farther back ? how do I get there ? accounts has simple on off options for sync only

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify--are these email accounts on your Gmail app, or the stock Email app?

Msn is on the stock email ap, using gmail for my work account.

And you can only see one page on both apps? Go to each email app's settings, select the email account, and look for the detailed sync settings. You can only find a simple on-off?

I can't seem to get to "detailed" sync settings. Going into settings for each account only shows me on/off for each type of sync.
