S6 also has SDI battery

Using ES file explorer one can determine the type of battery fitted to a device

device/sys/class/power_supply/battery/batt_type and open in a text editor

This tells me my S6 Snapdragon is also fitted with a battery from Samsung SDI. Will be on the lookout for any abnormal heating or severe discharges.

The problem is only with the Note 7, Samsung said that.

IF there were any issues with the battery it would have happened long ago.
