S6 Edge and facebook status

OK just changed handset from s4 to s6 but how do I get my contacts to show their facebook status? Tried everything nothing I enjoyed looking at contacts status as I would generally miss them on Facebook itself.

When you signed in to Facebook did you set your Facebook account to sync with contacts?
