I bought an official Samsung S6 Edge flip case cover for my phone. The S6 Edge fits very nicely and it looks professional. However... when I put my phone in this case, it immediately goes into sleep mode and I can't wake it up unless I take it completely out of the case. And even then the touch screen doesn't work and I have to do a hard reboot by holding the Power - Home - Volume keys.

I looked for a setting that might control the phone behavior in a case but I can't find one. I'm hoping this is something obvious.

Thanks for any assistance.

Had same issue. Was caused by installing a screen protector. Removed the protector and all fixed itself.

That stinks that you can't use it with a screen protector...seems counter productive...what type of screen protector if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you for all your responses. I do not have a screen protector so I can't remove it to see if that might work. I went to Best Buy and tried my phone in all the cases. It goes to sleep in all of them. I even tried a factory reset. I also talked to Samsung who has no idea what could possibly even technically be causing this. The epilog is that I gave up and returned the Samsung phone case. No idea what the problem is.
