S6 Edge gallery wont open after Marshmallow update

[AC Question]

Hi,
My s6 edge updated to the Marshmallow update, and now my gallery wont open. It allows me to select it, and it looks to try to open, then I get the "unfortunately gallery has stopped" and it shuts down. It does the same thing when I put the phone in safe mode.
Help please!

I just tried this as I am having the same issue. It did not work for me.

If it also happens in Safe Mode for you as well, then you might have to try a factory reset. Of course, make sure you back up or sync your important data beforehand.
