Hey guys, my s6 edge decided to just turn off a day ago when trying to unlock the phone with pattern. Tried to start it with the power button and it would show the logo and turn off.. I read up on clearing the cache through the recovery menu. I tried that and there is no change.Figured the moment I take the usb cable out of the phone, it acts like a switch and turn of the phone instantly. The battery symbol will show the next time i plug it in at 94% and the charge to 100%. After I unplug the cable, try to start it, no dice. Plug the cable in again, and its back to 94%. I can't calibrate the battery if i can't drain it or don't know what the actual status is. Out of frustration, i decided to wipe/restore from the recovery menu but no dice again. One thing i did notice is when i was skyping when the phone was plugged in (works fine when it is), it shut off just as it would when i unplug the cable.(Don't know if the battery is not charging at all or it hits a certain percentage and shutsoff)
Came to this forum, and read someone else had the same problem and the solution is the wipe the cache. But i already tried unless I missed something.
Can someone please guide me to the solving this issue if possible. I bought it off someone who has the glass cracked on the screen and don't know if its under warranty or not.
thank you,
Darshan
