S6 edge plus wifi issues

Hey everyone,

Just bought a galaxy s6 edge plus on Sunday. It's a good phone hardware wise but I've been having an issue with the wifi on the phone. My wireless connection is fine as everything else works on it and my phone has the issue on every wifi connection. For some reason the internet works fine until about ten minutes goes by and then the speed will slow to literally a crawl. I've factory restored, cleared the cache, changed my dns and pretty much everything imaginable to fix this. Any ideas? Id hate to take it back since I just paid $25 for a screen protector

Have you tried switching wifi channels? Are you in 2.4 or 5gb wifi? Mine works much better on 5gb.

Maybe a factory reset on your modem / router???

Maybe try reconnecting the wifi using a static IP?

I have the same issue. Also I will lose my WiFi and then reconnect within seconds. I have reset ASUS router and nothing seems to help

Did you install the update as well? To my knowledge it's not a widespread issue as my girlfriend's phone works perfectly fine

I changed my wifi setting to static earlier and it didn't help:/
