Hi,
I have Samsung S6 edge+ using on T-Mobile carrier. I usually join to conference calls by storing the dial-in number, participant pass code by storing them in my contact using soft pause ( 866-xxx-xxxx , 1223456# ) and use ,*44444 if i have to host thru my leader pin. It used to work perfect in my google nexus phone. Where as the samsung s6 edge+ doesn't recognize the passcode input.

Out of the 10 attempts, probably one it is able to successfully join or host the conference bridge call.

If I am auto dialing into conference, i see a message "sending notes" with the participant code. But, it has no effect to the ongoing call where it asks to enter passcode. It fails and I need to redial again to end up in vain.

I even tried to dial in manually, First, dial the conference bridge number and then manualy enter the passcode through dial pad. But, even in this case, it fails to accept the passcode and still waits for the input which will expire and says u have entered wrong number and asks to enter passcode again.

I tested using other device and it works perfect in both conditions. Any suggestions please?

Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to press the keypad for other phone menus (i.e., "Press 1 to reach XYZ dept, press 2 to reach ABC dept," etc.)? If not, then open the Phone app, tap More>Settings>Call Settings, and look for a DTMF option. Make sure it's set to Long.

Yeah! after looking into couple of forums, I have made some changes and no luck. Yes... DTMF is set to Long.

I can press the keypad when i dial in customer care and have to go through departments.. But, again its similar behavior as dialing conference number.. works perfect like 10-20% of the time.

I recall having similar difficulties with my old Nexus 5, on my work voicemail. Not sure what the problem might be. What if you make these kinds of calls using Hangouts Dialer? Can you enter codes more reliably that way? (They're VOIP calls, of course.)
