S6 lite and Bluetooth keyboard layout

Hi,

I bought a Bluetooth keyboard to use with my S6 lite. It works fine, except that I can't get it to change the layout. I type in French so much that I prefer to use a French keyboard layout than an English one. However, no matter what I do, I can't get the keyboard to change the layout to French. How am I supposed to do that?

I tried it on my phone (OnePlus 5T) and it works fine. The hardware keyboard has a different list of layouts from the virtual keyboard.
