Totally revamped my phone (took a while) using nova.
Put the phone on charge and went to bed.
In the morning the phone was dead! Black screen and buttons unresponsive.
After another try (holding 3 buttons down) a screen I've never seen before came up.
It was a (white and cyan) warning screen saying 'custom os can damage your phone' press up volume to continue with custom os or volume down key to continue normal.
I went with normal and all is how I had changed it too.
Bit bizarre as I've used nova on my s4 with any of this?

Re: problem with nova

I doubt it had anything to do with installing Nova. This has never been reported by Nova users and, like it or not, Nova is a very stable launcher. Perhaps something happened with your charger or a rogue app caused the problem. But it sounds like everything's OK now, so lets just hope it stays that way.

Re: problem with nova

Do you have KNOX turned on? That might be what's creating the warning.

Re: problem with nova

Thanks for the advice..
Yeah it seems fine now and KNOX is running.
The last app I've put on the phone was clockr to get the clock into typo format.

Re: problem with nova

what makes you believe this has anything to do with Nova? this is not something a launcher would cause........

Re: problem with nova

The fact it went dead and when rebooted a warning screen stating 'custom OS' could cause damage if continued!

I maybe wrong but 'custom OS' doesn't that point to Nova?

well, no, Nova is NOT a custom os lol, it is a launcher, and nothing else, sounds to me like you started pushing all sorts of buttons to restart your device and you got into download mode, which is done by simultaneously pressing volume down, home, and power

Re: problem with nova

Recently the unread email badge for non-Gmail accounts was fixed. This morning, it appears a bit wonky. At one point, the badge had 10 and one unread.
