Anybody know when the Samsung galaxy s6 will get android marshmallow in the UK

While there is nothing confirmed yet, A supposed leaked document suggest that between February and March you would get the official update. It will be most likely an OTA update. Now, I don't live in the UK. However, if phones are carrier locked in the UK I wouldn't expect it until at least 3 months later, or just check with your carrier.

I have heard somewhere that the beta program already shut down on January 17th so that says something

Marshmallow will add features, fix bugs, and introduce new bugs. Same as all major operating system updates.

Many will argue that there is nothing wrong with S6 battery life per se, but sure, there may be improvements. If you are having battery issues it is likely app, usage, expectations, or signal related - not Android.

My battery life bl@ws. I get about 8-9 hours with light to moderate use and about 2 hours screen time. Yes I have tried all suggestions and disabled as much as I can. I get strong wifi all day and pretty good Cell strength (3-4 bars all day).

I have a very weird bug though as my phone nearly never charges from the adapter but does through my laptop...I seriously do not know what is wrong with it. It doesn't even recognise a charger is being connected and I have tried the charger on other phones and it works fine. Once I connect it to the laptop though there are no problems. Has anyone else got this problem as I feel it is a very specific problem.

You won't get the three update you'll get the update for the network the phone was originally on. I have a vodafone (unlocked) s6 which I use with an ee sim and I got the vodafone update a couple of weeks back.
