S7 change country.

My S7 is from Korea, but the Korean standard OS install is full of software I don't need. I tried to install the UK OS using ODIN, but it fails with a problem with partitions. Will I have to root it to get round this? And if I do root it, will that allow me to install the UK OS (or any other)?

You can't flash any firmware not specifically meant for that device unless you root it and install a custom ROM. Be warned things like banking apps will not work on a rooted device.
