s7 edge 7.0 beta thread

All of my notifications are popping up on the lockscreen. Normally I would go to settings/notifications/advanced then click on the app you want to change the settings for. Problem is tho, with the update when you click on the app an go to change the settings it freezes and you cant do anything. Other than that the update is great but how do we let samsung know of the bugs?

Just worried it can cause issues since it's not available for download as an official update. You guys aren't concerned?

There is a chance that you could encounter errors but the risk is minimal.

I really like it. I miss Good Lock but couldn't find much else about it that isn't improved over Marshmallow.

Puts the wish for a Pixel well and truly to bed too.

Having some issues with the notification led and the Facebook app does not seem to work (keeps closing) otherwise though all good.

Are there any improvements to touchwiz with this vs MM?

Use Nova exclusively but have read some snippets saying the TW may have improved again since MM. Was good on the Note 7 apparently.

Im most happy with VOLTE being enabled on my unlocked edge in the UK. Previously you've always needed the carrier version to get VOLTE on android, only the iPhone supported it natively. But it's now working great on the EE network with the nougat beta.

Finding the new look a bigger change than expected it to be but overall happy. Few lags here and there but no major bugs.

Anyone know how to give feedback? The FAQ said to use the beta app but it doesn't have any options in there to do so. Is it this new Samsung members app?

I'm loving the update so far, its taking a while to get used to the new settings menu but I'm sure it'll become easier soon. Has anyone used android pay yet? I tried this morning in my usual shop before work and it wasn't picked up at all by the card reader. I've checked the pay app and all the settings I can think of and they all look correct.

Also the out and about feature is gone? I really liked this for setting things like mute and WiFi off at work, wifi on when I got home. Was this a feature on the note? I'd really like to have it back.

It was just the LED not flashing when a message comes through. Seems to be working ok now though.

Already I am seeing a noticeable improvement to battery life, so it seems the doze and data saver are doing their stuff.

It was on the Note 7 but it was tied into the Places slide out tab.

Signed up yesterday afternoon (Sprint), got the update last night.....

The Positive: Brings back some of the features I miss from Note 7 - 3rd party notifications on AOD; Improved Settings menu (Blue light filter, improved device management...); Greatly improved Notification Tray; Smooth interface so far and battery life seems improved.

The Negative (for me) - Says there is update for Samsung Pay but get error when trying to download; If you are a VR Gear user it will not work with Beta;

General - Not having the reported Facebook Crashes; New App (Samsung Members) allows you to send feedback and view/comment on Beta Community and view Beta Notices.

Love it so far, much closer to Note 7 experience...

I'm loving this. It's like having my note 7 back. No problems navigating menus as it looks identical to note 7. Glad to see all the 3rd party messaging apps are now supported on the always on display. Seems faster as well. Keyboard better as well.
