S7 Edge cannot do a screen shot

I have tried the right-to-left swipe and the hit-volume-up-and-power-switch options but I just can't get this phone to take a screen-shot. Is there a setting I need to change to allow this?

Actually, try pushing the power button and the home button together. Does that work for you?

You need to enable that function in advanced features... The palm swipe one I mean

Once you enable it in settings the swipe works..either left to right or right to left. I use it all the time.

Now on Nugget 7.0, can't find the permission in Settings for the swipe. Searched "Screen" and "Screen Shot" and came up empty. Where is it?

It's an option under the Settings |Advanced Features screen,about halfway down the page. Samsung calls it Palm Swipe.
(For me, anyway; your phone's setup may be different, depending upon your carrier, etc.)

If you cannot find it in Advanced features, try searching in settings for "palm".

It was already turned on. Problem was your hand has to be TOUCHING the screen as you swipe. Now it works just fine. Thanks to all for the help.

Can I highjack this thread to ask .... how do you take a screenshot of the lock screen ??
I know it's sounds stupid...who wants to take a screenshot o the lockscreen...but I do...
I usually show my sister my wallpaper on my home screen with a screenshot, but I also want to send her a shot
of my lock screen wallpaper..how do you do that ?

While your on the lockscreen press the power and home button at the same time.
