S7 edge fast charging USB NOT WORKING

I've had my s7 edge for about 3 months now, the charging has always been fine. Now out of the blue the fast charging doesn't work I have tried everything from switching cable's, changing chargers completely, reseting the phone, making sure the fast charge is enabled, even cleaning the USB charge port. The other day my phone did over heat quite bad to the point that I was not even able to touch my phone. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could possibly be any help would be appreciated! Welcome to Android Central! Any problems with data transfer via USB? I'd wonder about some problem with the actual microUSB port. Any water exposure?

You may just have to contact Samsung for warranty repair. Try your carrier first, to see if they're willing to replace your phone, even after 3 mo.

I updated on Verizon for my Galaxy S7 tonight and my fast charging stopped working. Was told by Verizon it was due to the software update and that Samsung was working on a patch. Not sure if that is the same issue you've encountered.

settings>battery scroll down to the botom and thereis a tickboc that says fast charging. maybe its just turned off. maybe you did it accidentaly or if you have kids maybe one of them did it accidentally idk
