Hi everything. Just curious if these CPU temperatures are in the normal range?

Downloaded 10 apps (one at a time) and completed a few updates: Temperature was 29.5c after this was done
Waited approx 15 minutes: Temperature was 25.5c

Would this be considered normal or better yet running at a nice "cool" state? Thanks! PS - GF is loving the phone.

I would say yours is running quite cool actually... I think you got a good one ;)

Thanks :) Happy to hear that! I had an S7 Edge myself after launch and had a bad experience with it however she saw it in store and had to have it. It has been a great phone so far, my confidence in it is redeeming. AND, if she ultimately decides she rather go back to iPhone this S7 Edge will be mine LOL. Thanks again!

Depending on the app used, mine is usually around 32° to 40°

Thanks, I appreciate you sharing this info. We are using Cooler Master (nice app).

No worries hope she enjoys it, or doesn't? ;)

I guess it is a win win. If she likes it she is happy which means I am happy. If she doesn't, she will be happy with an iPhone and I will be happy with the S7 Edge to share time with my current daily drivers (iPhone 6s & Note 5).

It would also depend on ambient temperature. For example ambient where I am now is 30 c ambient , and cpu at rest is around 40 c. In moderate load, cpu would reach 60 c. When it reaches 90-95c then it would automatically restart due to temperature.

If your cpu is only reaching 30c then no problems at all.

Keep in mind that I am referring to cpu Temps as the op discussed, not battery temps

Thanks so much, I appreciate you sharing this information. My understanding is Cooler Master is tracking my CPU temp so I am happy to know are unlocking the phone from an unused state that it is sitting around 25c. Even after downloading all of the apps, the highest I saw it was 29.5c

I just checked now and it was 24.8c.
