S7 Edge screen looks...washed off.

I have a question. Just this morning I noticed that my screen looks...very light. Not as in my brightness being low, but as everything looks...washed off. It's weird. Very light. Doesn't look as vibrant as it used to. Like if I click on these threads or look into Facebook everything looks really light. The colors aren't as vibrant. Is there something that happened over night?

Did you change any of your Display Settings? Maybe you went from Adaptive to Classic or Movies?

I didn't change anything on purpose. How would I check that?

Check your settings on Settings-Display-screen mode.

It's on "Adaptive Display". I've never touched these settings before (on purpose) so I'm not sure where it's supposed to be at.

Adaptive won't make it look washed out. Somethings gone amiss on your phone, I'd say (as in hardware).

Interesting. Should I take it in to where I bought it from at this point? If it's not a settings issue

To be sure, you did thoroughly clean the display right? Sometimes a lot of fingerprint smudges can make it look like that.

Yes the screen is clean and free of smudges. It's like the homescreen icons look very light. Like almost almost a pastel tint to it. Not vibrant dark like it was. It's weird
