S7 edge screen

My s7 edge screen flashes when i unlock the phone,but after that it is completely black,i can swipe up and unlock it,i can use the touchscreen and side buttons for volume,i can see the top light if i have an sms or any notifications,i can hear every sound,vibrations. My screen is just black, does this mean the main motherboard is ok? And is it possible to get it working without fixing the display and glass screen?

Welcome to Android Central.

I suggest trying a hard reset. Hold your power and volume down button at the same time till you see it restart. Then let go of the buttons. Hopefully this will help with your issue. Thanks!

I did that multiple times, when it restarts it goes into main screen and the screen flashes,then it is black,i can swipe up and unlock it ,hear everything ,i can use the lock to lock it again. If i unlock the phone again it flashes again and is black,but touch screen works.
