S7 Edge - Verizon preorders

So after my UPS driver dropped of my Verizon bought phone, I re-registered with that MAC ID and IMEI but put in the same info for address and such. I used a different email address as well. We'll see what happens but in the confirmation email I got it says "for your free samsung gear s2". It didn't say that the first time I submitted.

It sure sounds like they may have run out. Anyone that submitted today get the same response about Gear VR instead of Gear S2?

Then he says I'm sorry it will be 3/15, I say why the 2 day difference.....silence.

I had to stop by my house to pick up something and by coincidence, the UPS truck came by while I was just about to leave. The phone is all setup and I registered for the S2 as soon as I could. I got an email from Samsung that says Gear S2. Hopefully they haven't run out...

I made sure to double check when I did it the first time. I will say since I re-did my registration with a different phone the website was different. Instead of a box to check there was a drop down menu instead. Aside from that everyting was the same.

Just cancel if it hasn't shipped yet and go to best buy. That's what I did this morning and walked out with a titanium silver edge, 64gb SD card, and gear vr.

I trust you guys selected the correct item. I got a little scared myself so I double checked my email. Clearly shows Gear S2. Wonder what went wrong.

Perhaps a bug in the site which is why they changed to a different layout like sumner has mentioned?

Called back. She says my first submission is a Gear VR, but the second shows up as a Gear S2 in the system.... She can't change or delete them. But I guess I'm ok with that. I'll get both.

No, you can only enter with one account (one email address). If it is discovered that a person has registered or attempted to register more than once using multiple email addresses or residential addresses, multiple identities, IP addresses, use of proxy servers, or like methods, all of that person’s entries will be declared null and void and that person will not be awarded any Prize that he/she might have been entitled to receive."



and they just added this to the promo page "contact us" last night about location code, it wasn't there previously so they must be getting inquiires about location code which determines if you are eligable for both the VR and S2 or just the VR.........-------

anyhow both my email confirmations says S2. when I check status of them the top of the check status page says GEAR VR. Not sure what that is about tho
