How fragile is the front and back glass on the galaxy s7?

It's Gorilla Glass 4, but that's scratch resistance - drop the phone on a hard pebble screen-first and it'll crack, if not shatter. It's not fragile, but it's not as tough as steel either.

I was thinking about the glass back being more fragile than a phone with only a glass front. The more exposed glass the more chance for cracking. Gorilla Glass is tough but it will break. This is my biggest drawback to buying a s7.

If you worried about the glass would cracked, get a cases with shockproof.

Just my opinion but if you care about your phone getting scratched or damaged put a case on it. There are plenty of good cases and a clear TPU case won't hide a phone's alleged beauty.

It's glass, no matter what name the marketers come up with. I have a very thin Cimo case and it's been well protected.
