S7 is stuck on FHD (1920x1080) display and can't change it to 1440

Not sure how this happened but my S7 changed to 1080 display and all the icons are now large and out of frame on the phone. I tried changing the resolution back to 1440 but I get a "Settings keeps stopping" error.

Any idea on how to fix this problem?

I'm running 7.0

I would try clearing the system cache. Holler back whether that helps or not.

Just did and that did not work. The icon layout is all messed up. Should I do a system reset?

Issue resolved. Did a factory reset and all icons are not overlapping anymore. It wasn't a resolution issue after all. Phone just went coucou!:-!

Mine did it too. I had to turn on performance mode and turn it back off. No factory reset needed.
