S7- no media on Bluetooth in Passat

Hi

I am able to connect my Galaxy S7 running Oreo to my 2014 VW Passat for calls and contacts but every time I try to connect it for media it switches media off immediately, any fixes from Samsung for this??

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have any other Bluetooth devices that might be competing for the Media Audio connection?

It's not Samsung that would come out with an "update" for an older vehicle, it's VW that would come out with an update for a newer phone. See if your VW dealer's service department has any bulletins or updates for the radio.
