S7 Random Restarts

Hi guys,

I've had my mobile since the release date and since then I've had my phone restart randomly around 4 times.

The last two times have been when I've unlocked the mobile using my fingerprint scanner and it's restarted almost instantly.
Also on a side note, when playing games. Sometimes, the mobile will crash and it won't let me do anything and automatically force restarts.

It's not like it happens everyday, like I said this restarting issue has only happened around 4 times since owning the phone.

Has anyone else had this issue or something similar? if so what did you do to rectify the issue?

Welcome to Android Central! This kind of thing can be difficult to troubleshoot sometimes, especially if it's due to some 3rd party app that's causing instability. Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-24977

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears.

I don't mind keeping my phone in safe mode, but this issue can be extremely intermittent. So it may not happen again for another month.
If I keep my mobile in safe mode will it change anything?

Yeah, that's a big part of why this is difficult to troubleshoot.:-\ There's no harm in keeping it in Safe Mode, but of course you won't be able to use any of your 3rd party apps.

Another option is to go through all of your currently installed apps and uninstall the ones that never or hardly ever use. That will at least narrow things down.
