What should us Note 7 people change, delete, optimize to maximize battery life?

Any other set up changes you did?

I did the Best Buy w/SD Card yesterday :-)

About the only thing i do is keep sync turned off. I check my emails regularly dont feel that i need the phone always syncing.

Other than that i set the screen to auto, but have the brightness about 35 percent. Its not so much for battery saving reasons as much as i like the screen at that brightness.

Other than that i have doze on, but dont tweak anything.

If the note7 lasts as good as the s7 edge I'll have plenty of battery left after work and thats what i look for.

Oh yeah, i leave bluetooth off unless im using it and same for wifi.

What about Facebook. Does the app still eat more battery than via the browser?

80% of the enemy of batteries are a combination of specific apps, and signal strength. While MM did some improvements, apps still dictate your battery life. Nugat will be the big one. It will kill apps without mercy which try to keep the device from going to sleep. I occasionally get a mediaserver wakelock... and Nugat should keep that baby from killing my battery. Also, battery opinions are like....everyone has one. Turning on the screen, even for a second to flip wifi on/off, or bluetooth on/off likely takes more battery than you are saving by turning them off. That's the logic with the always on display. Turning on the full screen to check the time, kills more battery than the small amount the AOD uses. Signal strength is a huge battery killer and beyond your control. On my note 5, i get huge battery drain at work, and not at home. Mostly due to signal strength.
