S7 screen durability

Am I correct in assuming that the screen design of the S7 would make it less likely to Crack or break than the S7 edge?

Yes, because physics

But issues with the screen cracking on the edge are a bit overblown. With about 40 million units sold, there is bound to be a fairly high number of people with broken screens.

I treat mine pretty rough — toss it in the bottom of my laptop bag, or have it slide off the dash while driving and all the things you probably shouldn't do — and it's fine.

Does your screen have a lot of scratches from all that abuse?

A few tiny ones, but not nearly as bad as you would think. Nothing you can see without looking very closely.
