S7 seems to longer to support MAP (message access profile)

After the Nougat update was received to my Galaxy S7 my text message alert are no longer received on my link to cell devices. Does anyone know if Nougat is still suppose to support MAP (message access profile) I've gone to many different sources and no one will give me a straight forward answer, yes or no.
