S7 states 100% charged dies in 1 min

[Android Central Question]

So I charge my S7 it takes a normal 1+ hours to charge to 100%. I use it for a min or max 2 minutes and it dies. And I have to start charging again. Basically need to have it plugged in to use it. I deleted catche even re boosted. Has all the updates. Deleted all unnecessary apps. Checked what running in the background. Shut it off 4 times. All tips I have seen. Nothing works. Anyone else???

Mine isn't quite THAT bad. But I will say that battery life has been pretty abysmal with this phone. Maybe because I'm coming from an iPhone? IDK. Either way I hope you find a solution to your problem. Was the phone recently water damaged? And/or exposed to high amounts of intense heat?

Do you normally keep using the phone until the battery goes to 0%? Or until the phone warns you that the battery is getting low? Either way can kill a battery in months. It sounds to me as if you need a new battery. (See The Care and Feeding of Lithium Polymer Batteries.)
