S8 active reception issues

Can someone please help me? At&t doesnt seem to care to help. I have horrible reception issues with my s8 active compared to previous models. Everything was fine until upgrade about 5 days after purchase!
 
Welcome to Android Central! So the phone got good reception out of the box, but then it worsened 5 days later? Did you start using a case around then? Does the cell signal indicator actually show fewer bars, or does it show a strong signal but you still get dropped calls or slow data?

You could ask AT&T for a replacement SIM, in case there's a problem with the current one.
