S8+ battery drain overnight

[AC Question]

Hi my wife just got a S8+ and we just transferred everything over from the iphone(btw the mitigation tool works for ios 10.3 too) and after we did that and got all the apps set up, we left the phone overnight and the battery was completely dead. It went from around 80 or 90% to completely dead(wouldn't even boot without a charge) in under 12hrs. I'm assuming the phone is a lemon, we're getting a new one. Anyone else experiencing this? My son took a picture of the battery monitor it was way more dramatic of a decrease than what I've seen so far with other battery problems people have mentioned.

Welcome to the forums. Yes, very abnormal. I lose about 3% overnight with wifi turned off and DND on with my S8+. As belodion said, look in Settings, Battery and see what used all that power.

Yeah actually, my wife and I don't have Facebook accounts or the app. Can't see what apps drained it, if any but it dropped from 80 something percent to 14 in about 2 hrs now that I look at the picture.

Since i bought s8 the most unreliable thing i found is a battery. I charge the phone to 100% before sleeping with every toggle switched off like wifi, data, aod, location and bluetooth. Overnight some times i lose 5 to 7 whereas more often it goes to 20 to 25 % as in the screenshot attached. The phone is in warranty. Please guide.

No screen shot is attached. However, look in Settings/Battery and see what's draining a lot of current after that happens. It's probably Cell Standby, which means that you have a weak cellular signal. Nothing you can do about that except turn on airplane mode, but then you won't get any phone calls.
