Well sort of, I use phone at work more due to phone calls, I think the extra power gets used by std Samsung email up along with Google servicesDoes the battery drain at the same rate at work compared to at home?
Ok how can I check this how long the phone was with out a signal in that charge cycle? It use to show in once you press on "cell standby" but it don't any more?I would still suspect that poor cell signal is part of the problem. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about that besides switch carriers, or check with your current carrier to see if they offer signal boosters.
Is not at home, I wake up get to work and phone is not charging at all, the screen shoots was taking after I come home from work, so phone was maybe used for 5 min at hime, I understand that there is some area on road where the call will drop so I know the phone will lose signal few times a day, but still very annoying that it just drain the battery.Right, I had previously suggested installing GSam Battery Monitor, which does have a cell signal strength graph.
If the signal is only poor at home, that's where you need the signal booster. It may be that overall, your drain is occurring at home (unless you specifically notice that the battery also runs down quickly even in areas with strong signal).
Most of time around 20% in all honesty I had s5 with original battery for 3 years and didnt have much of a problem, this phone after 11 months as I checked on contract showing signs of wear, better go and check it out. Just replying this battery hover at 30c and rising as you can see at end of graph, will post screen shot after 1h browsing see what that app shows. That's pretty warm for just browsing. That can happen if the signal is poor, but also if the battery is starting to fail. A battery can fail if it's defective, but it can also start to fail relatively early if it's habitually drained to zero (or close to it), rather than recharging at around 30-40%. Do you typically discharge it really deeply?
