Hi guys, I'm a little bit out of my depth here so i hope you guys can help me.

I have a samsung s8 and its been fantastic for the last few months. I adore it.
I am an avid music fan. I've a great setup in my car & workout earphones.

On the way home from work yesterday, I tried to throw on some tunes. I noticed very quickly the subwoofer didn't sound right. It almost sounded like it was always playing "half the bass". I checked the sub and all seemed ok with it. Its only 6 months old and it isn't abused at all. I contacted the manufacturer and Auto-Electrician to sort it out.

I went to the gym shortly after that and i synced my earphones. Same ****! I felt there was a serious lack of bass. The volume was loud but it was like bass-less.

I tried switching the settings on Soundalive equalizer to get VERY MARGINAL improvement. I thought that maybe i was just over analyzing so i said id wait till i spoke to the Auto-electrician.

I have a bluetooth speaker in work. I always sync up to it and always have to set the volume 1 click after mute, It's too loud otherwise.

Today i had it halfway and it was still quieter than my previous setting i had it on!

WTF is wrong with my phone ?
Or my hearing? I doubt i lost alot overnight,

Check your phone's equalizer and Dolby settings (can't remember if the S8 already had that or if that just started with the Note 8). And if your music app (like Spotify) has a built-in equalizer, try turning that off as well. Especially Dolby or the phone's Equalizer will mess up the sound in BT connections (what works for your phone's speakers or a wired headset won't work the same for BT headphones)
