S8 candy crush notification pull down doesn't work

[Android Central Question]

When playing candy crush on my S8, the pull down menu from the top doesn't work. I have to close out of the game. What am I missing?? Thanks!

I just started having the exact same problem. It has worked fine until today. The No Alerts option isn't turned on. My os updated last week, but it was working until today.
