S8+ display screen timeout

I put my display screen timeout at 5 min. But it keeps changing back to the default 1 min,anyone have any clue how to stop this?

Thing that comes to mind is the battery optimizer/saver settings. It could be overriding your timeout. Go thru the battery settings and see what you can find as you might have to turn those off.

Nope,got that all turned off...

I figured it out,it was an app i downloaded called double tap,it let you open and close the lock screen by double tapping the home button
