S8+ durability

Remember: The Infinity Screen is a killer. Horrible way to design a phone re durability. But I'm addicted to it anyway.

I dropped my phone a lot of times already. Thanks for the UAG plasma still had no crack or scratch.

i'm with you i also have the UAG i love the way it looks and it's not as bulky as others and still provide premium protection.

Broke my own rule and got a speck grip case....and then took it off. Case removals shouldn't stress the screen or frame right

How sturdy on the buttons. When I put my phone on my wireless charger in landscape and realized that it was kinda propped up. There's a lip where the little pad at the bottom is and it looks like the phone was caught (assuming by the buttons).

I have a case too (otterbox strada) and like to take it out of the case at every opportunity. It does take a bit of effort putting it and taking it out of the case. I don't mean I have to hammer it in or use a crowbar to take it out but it does need a bit of force and I I'm worried that over time it may have an affect on the phone.

Say I take it in and out of the box twice a day ....... well that's 730 times a year that I'm putting that little bit of stress on the phone....... that's a lot of stress over time to the the area between the screen and frame.

Am I just being paranoid?

Might I once again suggest a folio/wallet case. Samsung has a pricey black leather case and the advantage is the screen is naked.

Hides the looks of the phone but it's plush, luxurious and feels great in the hand.

I'm not talking about the cheap cases that are plentiful on Amazon. A total waste of time and money.

Only place I could find this case was at Verizon and, yes, I know there's an unholy markup.

Wife tried to answer a text on my phone and didn't understand that I don't have 3d touch. Pressing on the screen like we would for the home button is ok?

Tried a speck presidio and took it off after a single afternoon. Just do not like cases. And the ironic thing is I get them because I'm worried about the phone getting damaged and then when I remove them I worry about the process of removal damaging it.

Can installing and removing a hard plastic snap on case damage the phone at all? Put too much pressure on it or something.
