S8 earbuds

The earbuds that came with my S8 sound terrible compared to the ones that I have for my S7. Very tinny. I unplugged the S8 earbuds and plug in the 7's on the same song and a huge difference. Anybody else noticed that?

I stopped using Samsung's included earphones since they switched to AKG ones. Thought they sounded tinny too, so I kept the B&O I got from the V20 and just throw each pair from the Samsung ones into a drawer.

That's weird because I find the akg to be better then the stock Samsung ones. but you have to make sure they're fit in your ear properly.

Edit: I actually purchased and use monster headphones, but before that I used the akg everyday.

I too am not impressed with the stock earbuds as the sound is mediocre and they only stay in as long as you don't move too much. I'll stay with my Bose

I loved the AKG ones that came with it. I've had them for 4 months and now the left ear doesn't work for some reason. I also have Beats headphones but I loved these since they are earbuds and more portable so I'm upset they stopped working. They were the best earbuds I've had

Obviously I cannot speak to everybody's experience, but most of what I've read online is that it is common for them to sound tinny when you cannot get a good in-ear fit. And for me, I cannot at all. So they're quite useless for me unfortunately.

I Went back to using the earbuds from the s 7. They wouldn't stay in my ear very well so I ordered these and they were great.

Hi everyone, my earphones sounded like crap too, i googled it and many ppl were saying that these are better earphones than those from s7. Then i thought maybe its something wrong with me. I tried to push the phones slightly deeper into ear. And boy there was nice bas. Then i changed the gum part of the phones to a larger size. And now the akg phones from s8 are far far better than those from s7. Hope this helps someone.

True that. The AKGs that come with the S8 clealy have a low bass signature. The sound clarity is good but clearly low on bass which makes me think they're perfect for phone calls. Tried bigger ear buds, blasted the equilizers. The bass clearly lacks punch!! Its better they dnt provide headphones at all

It's AKG tuned. Which means sound signature is balanced closer to reference. Consumer headphones tend to make headphones have punchier bass which is farther from reference.
