S8 Notification issue

[Android Central Question]

After my phone comes off "do not disturb" mode or I close Android Auto, every notification I have goes off. When I am in Android Auto, I already receive the notification at the time, then like I said, every single one goes off and it is obnoxius.
Anyone else have this issue?

Also the issue is not the notification reminder.

Yes, the same thing happens to me on my Note 8 after the Oreo update. When my phone comes off 'do not disturb' at exactly 5:15AM, I get each and every notification sound that was suppressed during the night. What the heck?
